2nd day of filming

In our second day of filming we decided to get some footage of our main base of our music video which is in London. The initially plan was that we all went as a group to film at key locations in our story board such as Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus, but due to a number of individuals having other commitments to attend to we had to limit the amount of footage we could record as we couldn't  film the ones which required the main singer or any group scenes because we didn't have everyone present. Because of the constant bad weather we have been receiving today was the only day which the weather was decent which was why myself and Connor (director of the music video) decided to go to Piccadilly Circus and Euston to get some footages simply of our train journey to London and location settings such as attractive buildings and scenes from the underground tube.

When we arrived at Piccadilly Circus it was extremely busy with a lot of on-going traffic, this was a good thing for us as it meant that we could record a lot of the passing vertices and hundred of walking tourists. Along with this and some good editing ideas we feel that this will make a good amount of contribution towards our final piece.

After filming some of the surroundings at Piccadilly circus we made our way to Trafalgar square to get some footages of iconic landmarks such as the massive waterfall. Unfortunately, when we arrived there the waterfall, statues and  various part of the premises was barricaded which meant that we couldn't record anything from there. On our next trip to London as a group we will come back in hope that the premises is on display to the pubic as it usually is.

After our disappointing trip to Trafalgar square we made our way to Euston to film at another icon landmark called Speedy's café. This was where BBC One's drama series Sherlock Holmes scenes were filmed. Along with corresponding ideas to do with this footage and editing we hope to use some of our footages at this location in our final music video to show that we have actually thought about interesting and iconic locations to film at rather than just around Dagenham.
