Favourite/Interesting Music Video
This music video is called 'Where them girls at' by David Guetta featuring Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida. David Guetta was original Dj in the 1980's and 90's where he mostly played in his home country France. He made a transaction into the pop industry in 2004 with a single Delirious featuring Tara McDonald, he had then made serval single and collaboration with many other hip hop/pop, RnB artist such as Flo Rida, Akon, Jessie J and many more.
I chose this music video because it is interesting with some good use of special effects making it more eye catching. The video is also different compared to other to Hip-Hop videos as they mostly consist of routined dancers. In addition to this the concept of the video corresponds to the actual lyrics unlike many other music videos where the audience becomes lost in understanding the actual meaning to artists lyrics due to the over complexity or a video which is simply not related to the lyrics.
The music is also very current and appealing to the younger generation as it very vibrate and bubbly. As you can see in the background of the video there literally are 'bubbles' emphasising the idea of the video being vibrate and something you can dance to. This music video also consists of intriguing special affects as the 'music' causes the people in the video to dance in an extraordinary was, this contributes in making the video look interesting and also correspond with the theme of the music as the vibrate and pumping music causes these people to move as if they had been possessed. This encourages viewers to also want to dance along to the video.
